International Space Station
According to NASA, the International Space Station spans the area of a U.S. football field, including the end zones, and weighs 924,739 pounds. The complex now has more livable room than a conventional six-bedroom house, and has two bathrooms, a gymnasium and a 360-degree bay window. The first component was launched in 1998, and the station has been continuously occupied since November 2, 2000. The ISS orbits the Earth every 93 minutes, roughly 260 miles above the surface.
