Dr. Kip Thorne and Lia Halloran
On December 14, 2023, All Space Considered is excited to welcome Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist Dr. Kip Thorne and noted artist Lia Halloran! They will be discussing their new book — The Warped Side of Our Universe — which leverages poetry by Dr. Thorne and artwork by Ms. Halloran into a cosmic blend of art and science on behalf of black holes, warped spacetime, and other concepts of relativity. A book signing will follow the program, and copies of the book will be available for purchase from the Observatory’s Stellar Emporium bookstore.
