Apollo 17: Looking Back and Looking Forward

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 17 mission to the Moon

Upcoming All Space Considered

On December 7, 1972, Apollo 17 launched on the Saturn V rocket with a crew of three astronauts: Gene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmitt.

Join us as we mark the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 17, which was the final Apollo mission to the Moon. Our staff look back at the last time humans walked on the Moon and examine how the current Artemis program takes us into the future. We’ll also examine the conspiracy theories regarding the missions being “faked” and discuss the evidence that proves otherwise.
