Elizabeth Greenway
Executive Director
A lifelong lover of the cosmos and a proud member of Griffith Observatory Foundation, Greenway brings a personal passion for astronomy and public science engagement to her role as Executive Director.
Prior to taking the helm at the Foundation in 2025, Greenway served as Vice President of Advancement at the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Previously, she led fundraising efforts and contributed to major cultural programs at Sundance Institute and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. She co-founded the Women’s Science-Fiction Society of Greater Los Angeles in 2007 and has been a devoted reader of the Griffith Observer magazine for many years.
Under her leadership, the Foundation looks forward to expanding its community partnerships, increasing philanthropic support for the Observatory’s educational initiatives, and celebrating the Observatory’s legacy while preparing it for the future.
